Occupational Therapist (OT) – School-Based Position | Texas
Position Summary:
A growing school district in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in achieving success both academically and functionally within the school environment. This role involves collaboration with special education teams, teachers, and families to provide high-quality therapeutic services to students with diverse needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop therapy recommendations
- Provide direct and consultative OT services for students
- Support fine motor, sensory, adaptive, and functional skill development
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Maintain documentation and progress reports
- Assist with classroom accommodations and assistive strategies
- Collaborate closely with school personnel and families
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Active Texas OT license required
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Hours: 2 hours per week (on separate days) each week for 4 weeks during ESY.
Compensation: 43-50 dollars per hour based on experience.
