Position Type: Full-Time, On-Site (Temporary)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday (4-day week) with occasional Fridays
Hours: 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM (40 hours/week)
Assignment Length: 12 Weeks

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLP-A) to provide 12-week maternity leave coverage at a supportive elementary campus in Terrell, TX. This is a great opportunity to join a strong special education team, gain valuable experience, and make an immediate impact at the start of the school year.
Caseload & Responsibilities

Caseload of approximately 60 elementary students (K–5)

Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP

Implement treatment plans and support student communication goals

Collect data and maintain accurate documentation using Frontline
-
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and the supervising SLP
-
Support student progress across a range of communication needs

Qualifications
-
Active Texas SLP-A license
-
Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field

School-based experience preferred, but not required

Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
