Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Leave Coverage

Are you looking for a great short-term Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position in an excellent school district? Would you enjoy stepping into an established school-based program and providing continuity of services for students while a team member is on leave?

Spotter Staffing has partnered with a fantastic school district seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for temporary leave coverage beginning January 5, 2027 and continuing through at least April 7, 2027. Qualifications for Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) candidates include:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license through TDLR

  • CCC-SLP preferred

  • School-based or pediatric experience preferred

  • Experience with ARDs, IEPs, evaluations, and school-based documentation preferred

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

  • Ability to confidently step into an established school-based caseload

Hours for Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP):

  • Full-Time

  • Monday–Friday during standard school hours

  • Temporary Leave Coverage

  • January 5, 2027 – At Least April 7, 2027

Compensation for Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP):

  • $48–$54 per hour based on experience

  • Uncapped bonus potential

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position details:

  • Full-time school-based leave coverage

  • Assignment begins January 5, 2027

  • Coverage needed through at least April 7, 2027

  • Step into an established student caseload

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy

  • Conduct evaluations and reevaluations as needed

  • Develop and monitor individualized IEP goals

  • Participate in ARD meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration

  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting

  • Support students with a variety of communication needs

  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education professionals

  • Help provide continuity of services throughout the leave period
