Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Early Childhood & Elementary Students | Hybrid Flexibility | Up to $85/Hour

Most school-based SLP positions ask you to manage a caseload.

This opportunity gives you the chance to actually impact students at the developmental stage where speech and language support matters most.

We are hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–27 school year to support early childhood and elementary-aged students in a highly collaborative, relationship-driven environment focused on meaningful student progress — not just checking service minutes.

Why This Position Stands Out

  • Up to $85/hour
  • Hybrid flexibility: work 3–4 days onsite with 1 remote day
  • Early childhood + elementary caseload
  • Full 2026–27 school year stability
  • Strong clinical and administrative support
  • Opportunity to help rebuild in-person speech services for students who need it most
  • Supportive leadership team with deep special education experience
  • Flexibility and input regarding caseload structure and scheduling

Many students in this program have previously received virtual speech services. The district is intentionally rebuilding services around stronger in-person connection, engagement, and outcomes during critical developmental years.

If you became an SLP to create lasting impact with students and families — this is the type of role that allows you to do it.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide speech and language therapy services aligned to student IEPs
  • Support early childhood and elementary-aged students with a variety of communication needs
  • Conduct evaluations and contribute to treatment planning
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Track progress and maintain documentation
  • Build strong relationships with students to increase engagement, confidence, and communication growth

Work Environment

  • Collaborative, team-based culture
  • Well-supported special education leadership team
  • Safe, well-maintained school buildings
  • Consistent schedule and school-year stability
  • Standard school hours approximately 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Leadership includes experienced special education administrators, instructional leaders, and dedicated speech support staff who understand what clinicians need to be successful in schools.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Licensed SLPs
  • Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
  • Professionals who value relationship-driven therapy
  • Individuals who enjoy working with younger students during foundational developmental years
  • Clinicians who want flexibility, support, and meaningful impact in their work

Compensation & Additional Support

  • Pay up to $85/hour
  • Potential hybrid schedule
  • Transportation assistance available in some situations
  • Additional support for materials, resources, and professional development may be available

This is the kind of school-based SLP role people stay in because the combination of flexibility, support, mission, and compensation is difficult to find in one opportunity.
